The Rectorat d'Amiens migrates towards the "full Web" with Global e - line Support and Services solution

Guided by the desire of developping their innovative management methods and programs, the Rectorat d'Amiens (a major French school supervisory body) chose the software provided by BusinessLine in client-server architecture in 1999, in order to fully and efficiently monitor and manage their 211 schooling establishments and pedagocical appraisals.

Today, the Académie d'Amiens migrates to Global e - line, BusinessLine's new full web solution, which is implemented through the Intranet that links all the institutions of the Academy and the Rectorat. All of the inquiries coming from the different services (administration, intendance, professors, technicians etc.) of the academy's institutions are processed by the software package Global e - line, whatever the contents (organization, pedagogical procedures, IT systems, human resources, supplies, stationary…).

Each user can now, through a simple browser, navigate in the solutions base which is constantly updated by the Rectorat, create a new inquiry, follow-up on the progress of the inquiry, receive an answer or have a conversation through internet with the expert in charge of processing the question.

The three divergent and voluminous "trade" databases supplied by the Rectorat d'Amiens have the advantage of precisely managing all the material and pedagogical inquiries coming from their 211 institutions, through the full web architecture of Global e-line. The servers are installed in an "airlock" which guarantees the technical security of the data. The applicative security is taken care of by Global e-line in a way that assures in the best conditions of exchange of data through the Internet (control by Id and password, control of login).

By the start of the school year, more than a thousand users will be connected to Global e - line which will process their inquiries and their relationship with the Support Service of the Rectorat, consisting of about twenty experts.

Our know-how, reliability and trade experience, proven in this successfull migration towards the Full Web, gives us today the possibility of envisaging a national cover by way of the other rectorats.
